I can only highly recommend Mark O'BRIEN who in conjunction with John CONROY went out of their way to help us in the sale of our old family home after my mothers death. Mark's knowledge of the local market is outstanding and combined with his personality made a very difficult process easy to work through. He was always available to discuss any issues that arose during this process and I found him very easy to talk to, even if some of my queries were probably quite banal to him but were a worry to me. Again it was a pleasure to have him assist us in the selling of mums old home.

A week before we listed in late February 2017 it started raining. It stopped about a week after the (failed) auction. About a week after we listed the market seemed to go very soft, suddenly. The normal auction result for 4-5 bedroom houses in our price bracket became "passed-in" with few or (in our case) no bids. Chris kept trying to find us a buyer & eventually did, although at a price below original (Jan 2017) expectations (not just from Chris but also the other agents we interviewed). Chris was always cheerful, professional & respectful & provided honest feedback. At one point he said "last year I had buyers chasing me in numbers; now I have to chase the very few buyers that are around". So as above, Chris worked diligently in less than ideal circumstances to get a result, but in the end he (& we) were a bit disappointed with the outcome!

Chris has just achieved an outstanding outcome on our sale. His advice on strategy and timing was perfect. I trusted him entirely during the sale process, and I felt at all times that he was working for me (rather than the buyers just to get a sale). His communication was first rate - Chris has a very relaxed style and I like that (I don't like pushy agents). The marketing campaign was incredibly smooth. He easily organised any maintenance work the property needed, and he stylist he chose did a great job. He got the numbers through the house, and found the bidders for the auction.
