This was my third experience with Chris and each time the experience was both short and sweet. I first turned up in his office unannounced asking about a block of land. It was on offer to a potential buyer who was procrastinating - past more than one deadline - Chris sold it to me, a cash buyer prepared to sign immediately. So I went back to Chris when I sold the block, my plans having been exploded by Covid. He sold the land, and the buyers outed during the cooling off period. Chris took it all in his stride and had a new buyer within weeks. A neighbour appeared when this buyer went to look again at the land before signing the contract and racially abused my buyer. Chris found a third buyer, only a couple of weeks later. And the deal was done. So I went back to him when I moved away and planned to rent out my house. But 21st century banks are different, they will not lend to people of my age (75). So the rental in short order had to become a sale, with time pressure as my son had already signed a purchase contract for another house. Chris managed to get a buyer at a good price within days, and signed up to a contract in just a week and a half. So you see, I could not be more happy with my agent. And the man has a sense of humour. He is not short, but the time my land and home were on the market, was. And in both cases the price was sweet indeed.

Living in Melbourne and buying a home in Lakes Entrance during COVID lockdown can be a daunting experience. Looking back, there was absolutely no reason for us to be concerned, we felt totally at ease from the moment we spoke to Chris. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He provided us with as much information as he could and offered to answer any questions or concerns that arose. Communicating with Chris was so easy. If he wasn't available we could guarantee he would return our call very promptly. Arranging a video inspection of the property was no hassle at all. Chris was on the ball and knew exactly how to set it up. We can't fault Chris's service, he was thorough and easy to get along with. He has a great sense of humour and nothing was a problem. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable buying a home without being able to have a physical inspection.
