We have recently engaged Seeto Real Estate to sell our property. This review will not be a pleasant one. We have found Melinda Seeto to be a person without integrity and not trustworthy. An incident left us seething in anger when she initially promised us a discount on a service provided, and in the end turn around and took it back. The negotiation in the first place was one critical catalyst of us engaging her but ultimately it was an empty promise she didn’t uphold. And we found that she is not entirely what she would boast to her potential clients at all. We found that we were not able to have a peace of mind letting her do the job of selling of our property. She will pick out and exaggerate on all aspects of your property that is not up to her standard and will suggest you to do renovation or upgrade on the entire property. You need to use your discretion and weigh the costs vs benefit that the extra cost will incur. We felt that she has somehow influenced us into forking out a substantial budget to upgrade the property by letting us believe this will increase the value of the property. Then when the offered price is not to our target she said it’s the market behavior. So how do you think this will sit with us? Not well. In conclusion this will be the last time we ever deal with Melinda Seeto and we will not recommend her to anyone. As a business person you should be at least courteous enough to have some integrity but we are utterly disappointed with her.

We have been extremely impressed with the conduct and professionalism of Melinda and David when selling in this street and appointed them to sell our home after they achieved a record price next door. Their presentation, positiveness, planning and attention to detail is second to none. Melinda is really really good. Firstly, it's sold quickly for a high price. She sold my property within ONE WEEK. (4 days exactly) And the price is satisfied and fairly higher than market price (much higher than other agent's sold price in similar situation and location). Secondly, she has the knowledge of the whole process to sell the property and is able to explain to you very clear. She can tell you about the cost of marketing and to what extant your spending worthwhile. It makes you feel comfortable, trouble-free, and most importantly, confident. The confidence that you know you are gonna sell the property, and sell it quickly. Thridly, she works very hard, which is reflected in the response time. She is easily reachable - via phone call, text msg, email. Usually you receive the reply/communication within 3 hours, which IS AMAZING. The communication between us was prompt and fluid. My concerns were solved by her professional advice. I know she always work till late night, and again, you know you are taken care of very well. It's leading to a relax feeling of this practice. I'm sometimes a little bit busy and she involved and helped me in finalising the property (renovation, staging, cleaning, inspection before open home etc). I deeply appreciate her effort into getting my property sold in a good price. I've been dealing with at least 5 real estate agencies, including small and big ones, such as LJ Hooker, Ray White, dad-and-sons etc. Overall, Melinda Seeto is the best real estate agent that I've ever seen. Highly recommend.

Melinda sold our apartment in Homebush West in just six days for a price we were very happy with. She is very knowledgeable about the local market and helped us get our property into the best marketable condition. This was achieved in a short timeframe. Seeto real state team has been a dream to work with !!! Not that they manage to sell our unit in astonishing 3 days also the price way above what we asking for !!! Having difficulty writing this review as it will more likely not do justice when compared to the level of service, quality, communication, reassurance and professionalism we received working with Seeto Real Estate team. Melinda and her team came to our attention when we were walking around in the neighbourhood and her broads are everywhere and most of them will have "sold" signs within days. so we thought why not give them a call, and just like we expect. The whole team (renovation, interior design etc.) worked fast, hard and professionally, and has a level of detail and care that will surprise you. It was a pleasure working with Melinda and her team and they have made the whole selling experience so easy and smooth. Simply Outstanding!
