Would love to offer five stars for the communications and friendly service - which they’ve provided so far - however the issues pertaining to the previous tenants’ (students), having left the property in such subpar condition cannot be ignored. For a property costing $650 a week to rent, we were shocked and disappointed to see our new rental on arrival in such condition despite querying this and the property manager stating it had been cleaned ‘to a professional standard’. If the property indeed had been cleaned to a professional bond clean, we would not have found mildew on the doors and windows, bird excrement on the sills; dust, drink marks, scuffs and dirt on the walls, doors and skirting boards; cockroach droppings infested throughout the drawers and cupboards, and an overgrown lawn with weeds. Underneath the house? Razors, bottle tops, and numerous other bits of rubbish have also been found and discarded by us. A month in, we are spending our spare time still cleaning and attending to these deficits mentioned. We raised these issues numerous times with the property manager but nothing was done. We have never encountered such a dismal standard of exit clean, and we remain disheartened and affected.
