In these 30 years or so, we have done quite a number of transactions, and hence we believe we are reasonably well knowledged and experienced in property buying and selling. This time our investment property at Granville NSW was handled by Mr Daniel Starr and his team of Starrs Partners (Merryland). In general terms, we were very impressed by, and pleased with Daniel and his team's handling throughout all different phases of the selling process: from preparation, promotions, price negotiations, finalization, to conclusion in settlement. From our observation, their services were of very high professional and efficient quality. We were surprisingly impressed by their ability in dealing with our then tenants and getting the tenants' full cooperation and accommodation, not only during the open-house-inspections, but also in the unit touch-up beforehand which inevitably caused some disturbance and annoyance to the tenants in their daily life. Unlike most of other selling agents who tend to form their own ideas, then push and pressurize their clients to accept and follow, Daniel and his team did patiently listen to what we wished to achieve, understood it well, and carried out in the exact manner to achieve such wish. As to the achieved price of $485,000, though it was slightly below our initial expectation of $500,000+, yet under the then "adverse" market environment, we believed and contented such price was more or less the best available to us at the time. In conclusion, we have no hesitation to recommend Daniel and his team to any prospective sellers of properties in Granville NSW and nearby areas.
