I don't wish to let any more time slide by before expressing our grateful appreciation for the role you played in the success of last week's Auction. We the family were in shock for several days with the result achieved. I know there were multiple factors that brought about this result - not least the fact that our mother chose this property by the sea so many years ago...and location was critical. And I have received kudos for my role in how we presented the property. So now it is your turn to receive our grateful thanks for your positive role in the marketing campaign. We are thankful for the harbourside couple who turned up on the day and pushed it so high. But we are also thankful that your corralled the older reluctant gentleman (standing by the gate) who you 'talked into" registering on that day. He was the one who took the bid to $2 million. Then there was the magic of the whales turning up on day 1... all part of a well orchestrated strategy. It is only today that I realised your work and our work is done...I was kind of expecting another step...but apart from waiting patiently for the 19th of December there is nothing more that any of us can do.
