I could not have achieved what was achieved in the short time frame that it was achieved in if it had not began with a phone call to Gaylene. Knowing the house was unique, I knew that I needed an agent that did not apply a "one size fits all " approach to selling in a market where some agents feel they don't have to try "places sell themselves. Right ? Selling a house is stressful at the best of times let alone when separation is a fuelling source for a required sale. Gaylene understood completely, took the time to speak with me in and around my health department mayhem and made me feel assured that I was not just getting an agent I was actually getting a left hand to help steer the wheel while I set about finding a new home, starting a new job and getting the property prepared for sale while navigating spousal separation. Gaylene came and sat with both parties, walked through the house, advised on what to ensure was done and highlighted what would be energy wasted and how best to present the property for prompt and financially beneficial sale. In 30 mins Gaylene navigated the tension and handled the whole task; at the end of 30 mins a to do list was prioritised, photo date set, marketing strategy selected and agent assigned. I spoke with Gaylene on a Wednesday, she came saw and awed on the Friday, the property was advertised through her social media stream as "coming to market" on the Friday evening, Photographer arrived on the following Thursday, house went LIVE on the Friday, open home on the Sunday, offers rolled in Sunday after the open, the house was under offer Tuesday and officially SOLD a matter of days later. Agent assignment to Listing LIVE one week, Open home to accepted higher than top asking bracket within 24 hours of the one and only open house and settlement within a month . Could not have done it with out her, her support, her expertise, her marketing strategy and her commitment to exceeding her own sales target expectations.
