Excellent experience with John
John was extremely knowledgeable, reliable and a brilliant communicator. John was able to pivot with market changes to ensure that I was able to sell my property quickly. John's expertise and skill advised me how to build on the property's strengths to get the most sale value. This was my first sale and I was very nervous, but John communicated regularly with me, explained everything and I always felt supported. A hard-working agent with great knowledge
John Chartres has been the selling agent for two of my properties over the past 2 years, both of which achieved my expected price. He is a no-nonsense straight-talking agent who has a deep knowledge of the market and works hard at achieving the clients’ goals. I was particularly appreciative when he personally supervised the photo shoots of my properties even though these took some time to do. He also offered extremely competitive commission rates that were difficult to beat. I recommend his service to anyone wanting to sell their property without hesitation.

Top shelf sales service
We selected John from a short list of four recommended agents who each gave detailed sales and marketing proposals for the sale of our house. His property appraisal was realistic and his recommended sales and marketing strategies fully accorded with our needs and confirmed his considerable expertise. John was at all times approachable, helpful and open with both advice on how to sell and with feedback on our sales ideas. His updates on home inspections and buyer prospects were regular, frank and helpful. Commission was negotiable and very reasonable. Although we were not in a hurry to sell, we did so far more quickly and at a higher price than expected. It's impossible to believe that John would not provide such a high standard of service to anyone else. He undoubtedly has expertise from which either a vendor or buyer would benefit. We highly recommended John Chartres without hesitation.
