Home sales in our area typically take in excess of 12 months. We told Vikki we were committed to another property and a sale within 6 months was preferred. Our home was listed 2 weeks before xmas with a price advised by Vikki to be competitive with surrounding properties. Vikki showed 7 groups the property drawing several offers and we accepted a price close to our comfort level. The time of first advert to settlement was 7 weeks. The prompt sale put us into a state of panic to sort and pack our possessions to vacate the property.
