Exceeded Expectations
Max de Meyrick and his team at Weeks and Macklin have been managing our Town house since 2016. Finally we have decided to sell the property and the team were there for us, once again. We weren't sure of the value of our tenanted town house, and Max de Meyrick of Weeks and Macklin gave us ball park figure back in January 2022. He advised us that housing prices were up and perhaps the best way to gage the best price was to put out town house up for auction. We procrastinated a bit and finally put the town house up for auction in middle of April. Circumstances were that the open inspections for the auction, did not draw very many people and the tenants were not presenting the unit as well as it should have been. Max stepped in and spoke to the tenants and turned them around. Max reviewed the marketing campaign and after discussion with us, it was decided to go as a range sale of between $399000 and $429000. It has always been our experience when selling previous homes with other land agents, that we would have to drop the price of the home by at least $50000 and we were hoping this would not be the case this time. We were hoping for a bid at least at the bottom of the range, but were preparing ourselves based on past experience to be knocked down even further. Well within 5 weeks (which included 2.5 weeks advertising it for auction) Max had two bids on the Town House. Both excellent bids. And what was the winning bid? Well ...... It exceeded the top of the range figure!!!! Thanks Max and the rest of your team for making the sale of this property a simple and a pleasant experience. Day Family, Adelaide

Highly Recommend!
I have nothing but positive things to say about Max and his team at Weeks & Macklin! I bought my investment property through them back in 2011 and then Max sold it in 2022. Max's team managed the property throughout that time while I lived overseas and I had no issues. I was kept up-to date with goings on and their extensive selection of great trades people dealt with any issues that needed fixing.....all organised by the property manager without me having to do a thing! I highly recommend Max and his team whether you are looking to sell or use them as your property agents.
