However, my discipline and work ethic also have origins in another role. 12 years in the Australian Army 3RAR and 6RAR serving in East Timor as a section commander helped me formulate leadership skills, procedure-based approaches, and my ability to be strategic, resilient, and robust. Humility, compassion and understanding was also required to deal with people from a foreign land enduring challenging hardship.
As a successful real estate principal in the Ray White network I had offices in Wilston and Keperra. With a staff of over 20 employees, I led sales in the region for almost two decades, winning over sixty awards and being classified as an Elite Agent thanks to my high sales volume of approximately 70 sales per year.
After selling my real estate firm I remained as an independent licensed real estate agent.
