And the results were undeniable - our simple cottage went from charming to amazing, and come auction day we'd had nearly 100 buyers through the place, 20 contracts out, and most importantly 9 registered bidders. Our house sold for $175,000 above the reserve. He could've made a $20,000 commission off an easy $1m sale, but put in an amazing amount of work to get us a result that changed our lives for very little additional return to him.
