We were initially skeptical re appointing Aimee Burns from Barclay real estate as it is a small agency compared to the other companies we had appraisals from. However gut instinct told us to go with Aimee as her ideals and advice re preparation of the property and marketing approach were more in line with our ideas. We were not disappointed and Aimee achieved us a sale price well in excess of our original expectation and in a reasonably short time frame considering we weren't ready to list until very close to Christmas. We had an unusual situation with respect to the sale of our family house as the whole process was to undertaken remotely. Furthermore, our house was also currently tenanted, though the lease was due to expire, so we had the option of selling the property with tenants or vacated. Aimee Burns was more than happy to accept our 'interesting' listing.and we where more than pleased with the professional way she dealt with the sale of our house. Aimee Burns was happy to arrange all aspects of the requirements of the property sale, such as organising valuation, building and pest inspections, and recommending a conveyancing firm. She liaised with the contractors, and attended all necessary inspections on our behalf. Her knowledge of the market is an obvious strength as Aimee Burns very quickly realised that our house was the perfect match for a particular family that had some unique requirements. These potential buyers were happy to purchase a property in the right area even if that property was tenanted in the short term. Aimee 'presented' our house to the family, and after their due diligence they made an offer on the house which we were happy to accept. Aimee Burns we feel was instrumental in making two families happy, she certainly made us happy and hopefully the purchasing family felt the same. We never met Aimee Burns so all communication was done either by phone calls, messaging or emails. Aimee was always cheerful and personable on the phone and prompt to respond to any query we may have had. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her. In truth I have to say that Aimee Burns through her professionalism made the sale of our house a relative stress free experience.

The purchase of my first house came at quite an inconvenient time as I was overseas for work which initially gave me the impression that the technicalities and negotiations of this process would be quite difficult. Contrary to these initial concerns, Aimee was quick to nullify these doubts and, “go the extra mile” for me. Her expertise, professionalism and communication simplified the entire process and enhanced my understanding and overall satisfaction with how this contractual agreement panned out.
