Dear David, we hope you’re well. Now that the sale of our home is concluded, we want to take a moment to share some honest feedback regarding our experience. To be truthful, we found this process quite stressful and, at times, disappointing. One of our main concerns was the lack of communication throughout. We were left uncertain about key steps, and I ultimately had to reach out to you directly just to confirm that the sale had actually gone through. Another point of concern was the timing of the “sold” sign, which wasn’t put on the sign until two days before settlement. Additionally, several of our neighbours and friends who live just around the corner received the flyer advertising our house was for sale after the property had already gone under contract- just a week before settlement. While we understand the flyer was a part of the agreed marketing package, distributing it so late rendered it ineffective. Given our age- we’re both in our seventies- this experience has been especially difficult for us. We had hoped for a smoother, more supportive process. Lastly, we wanted to follow up on something our friend Yvonne mentioned. She recommended you to us and was told there would be a spotters fee. As far as we’re aware, she is still waiting to receive it. We appreciate your time and attention to these matters, and we hope this feedback is helpful as you continue your work in our community with future clients.
