I had followed Alea and her successful sales reputation whilst I was considering putting my home on the market. I was blown away by her presentation of homes and how quick they sold. Alea did not fail to deliver for me. She guided me through every step of the process and secured a sale above and beyond what I anticipated. Her communication is precise and continuous. From the moment Alea walked into the house it was clear that she was the agent for us. Her local knowledge of the area was there to see straight away, and she was more than happy to sit with us for as long as it took to explain her plan of action and her thoughts on the best selling method. Once things were underway Alea was there to get involved in the dressing of the house for photographs, putting in a lot of effort to get the place looking it’s best, and it looked incredible once complete. Home opens ran smoothly and it didn’t take long for offers to come in, with Alea staying in constant contact with us even late into the evening if it needed it. And then came the amazing offer she brokered for us, exceeding our expectations and literally knocking us off our feet, with contracts signed quickly despite it being a late evening. All in all, a very smooth sale that we were very happy with, and Alea’s enthusiasm for selling our home was there from start to finish. We wouldn’t consider any other agent after our experience.

My wife and I have moved 7 times over the years and this has been the worst experience by far. It all started at the final inspection when we noticed how unclean the whole house was. We asked the agent specifically if the house would be cleaned and her response was, and I quote 'yes it will be cleaned, probably not professionally but it will be cleaned'. The owners had moved out a week and a half before this inspection ( 2 weeks before settlement date) so we thought it wasn't too much to ask. When we took possession to move in we were horrified to see nothing had been touched. (I'm talking food scraps in oven, clumps of hair in sink drain, toilets were dirty and stained, 90% of cupboards and shelves had to be washed before anything could be put away and the floors even under where the fridge and washing machine were, had not been swept let alone mopped). The whole house was left in a generally dirty and grimy state. We would also mention that on the date of final inspection the seller turned up with her 2 young children which we thought was very unprofessional of the agent. Since the state of the house was apparent our attempts to get some help with regards to these issues were met with little or no concern. We now know that there is no law compelling a seller to leave a sold property cleaned (unlike a rental), we felt like we had no rights. The agent was going to drop in the afternoon of settlement date but never arrived. We alerted the agent of mail addressed to the seller which needed to be picked up and the agent said she would be over the next day but we haven't seen her since. It appears we were dropped like hot potatoes once the sale had been finalised. In all it was a very disappointing experience and maybe the laws should be looked at to protect people who do the RIGHT thing.

As a recent widow and pensioner, selling the family home of 43 years. Alea was instantly approachable, her personality makes you feel like you have known her for years. Always a smile and always patient with the little stuff. Her communication was perfect as well as her expertise. Her positive attitude trying sell during Covid-19 was a testament to her skill as a Real Estate agent. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I will be forever grateful for having her help me through this highly emotional period in my life.
