We recently purchased a property from Alex as first home buyers. We didn't have the best experience at the beginning. From the get go, we never felt like we were taken seriously. Despite putting in an offer pre auction, we never heard back from Alex by the deadline and had to follow up ourselves. When we attended the second inspection after putting in the offer, we were not acknowledged by Alex and just took our details down at the front door like every other person there. Despite numerous comments that the property was "definitely going to auction", the vendor/agent decided to do a dutch auction, quickly asking for offers within 12 hours. This was frustrating as we had already put in an offer but told our solicitor and bank we had more time up our sleeve as they were definitely going to auction in a couple of weeks. The dutch auction process was painful to say the least, simply being told we had to offer a certain number without having any idea of what level other buyers were at or even if there were other genuine buyers making offers! Luckily, we submitted our final offer and we got it. Post sale, Alex was great and helpful however unfortunately during the campaign we did not have a great experience.
