Disappointed experience

Our experience with Alex Rutherford was highly unsatisfactory. Throughout the purchase process, we were provided with information that later proved to be false or misleading, including the cost of strata fees, what was covered under strata, and the property’s flood status. We were advised that an extension to the finance clause would be granted, only for this to be withdrawn without explanation. These inaccuracies and changes created significant and unnecessary stress during what should have been a straightforward transaction. It became evident that key details were presented in a way that appeared designed to secure the sale rather than to ensure we were fully and accurately informed. Once the contract became unconditional, communication effectively stopped, leaving important matters unresolved and forcing us to invest additional time, money, and effort to clarify basic information. Based on our experience, the conduct we encountered was neither transparent nor professional, and I cannot recommend Alex Rutherford to any prospective buyer.
