We engaged Alex to sell our property along with our house which was on a separate title next door. The block was being used for a tennis court - not your usual sale - but as it was on a separate title we anticipated it would be sold as a building block. Alex and Scott presented a sold proposal to sell both this block and our home, and we sold both blocks before auction above what we had anticipated receiving.

We spoke to 4 local agents before choosing Alex to represent us - a long standing local agent, 2 newer ones and Hocking Stuart - who we knew to be well established on the other side of Melbourne. Alex, together with Scott, came well prepared and presented an option for selling we hadn't considered before (we were in the unique position of selling two blocks next to each other). The proposal was well thought out, came backed up with recent local information, and, to us, was authentic to us as the seller and to potential buyers. It was a straightforward campaign, during which Alex kept us up to date after each open, and between them as he followed up with people who had visited the property. When a buyer came forward before our planned auction, Alex put in a lot of hours to progress the sale for us. We had a lot of questions during that time, and Alex did a wonderful job of answering them honestly with the purpose of helping us to make the right decision for us. We achieved a wonderful result - not because it was a lot higher than what we had originally thought, but because the numbers were 'right' from the start - and they were strong numbers at that point. We would happily recommend Alex to other sellers in the area.
