The actual auction was quite a disappointment, as there were only ever 2 bids (1 from each of 2 people). People who were expected to turn up didn't, but in the end it sold to one of the 2 bidders at our reserve price. It was disappointing that there was so little activity, but it was great that Alex and the auctioneer negotiated it up successfully to the selling price. Alex was very good at keeping us informed, and they held regular opens, researched potential buyers and so on.
