I recently had a disappointing experience with Alexandra from Raywhite Canberra as my real estate agent. Before signing the contract, I was assured my property would sell within three weeks at a specific price, with no concerns about my property or surroundings. However, the sale took an exhausting 25 weeks and closed at 24% less than the price Alexandra had confidently promised. To add to the frustration, after agreeing to lower her commission due to the reduced price, Alexandra refused to honor this on the day of contract exchange, demanding the initial commission instead. This lack of professionalism and inaccurate expectations was deeply unsettling. It felt as though Alexandra either lacked knowledge of the demographic and market dynamics in Canberra or was inexperienced in the area. Overall, this experience left me feeling misled and dissatisfied. I wouldn't recommend her services.

Alex did a superb job to work with us to get our home on the market within a tight time frame. The styling and marketing of the home was well considered. She consistently made herself available to display the home and engaged productively with potential buyers. We felt well informed throughout and well represented in a market that posed numerous challenges.

From the start, Alexandra had a realistic, and as it turned out, accurate vision of how the sale process would proceed. She had a very good understanding of the local market, and type of buyer that would be most interested in the property. This knowledge greatly helped us prepare the property for an optimal outcome.

I had a great experience working with Alex. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! Her attention to detail and expert guidance meant my property sold quickly and with little stress.

We had an awful experience. Appraisal strategy - extremely over quoted and then continuously sold down. Transparency - She had told the tenants that they could break lease without having to pay a fee without our consent. We asked to get a quote for the garden to be tidied up pre-listing. We never got a quote and she had organised gardeners without us knowing resulting in a bill for over $1000 - I was shocked at how much we were charged without seeing a quote before hand. Communication - there was lack of communication. On multiple occasions we had to prompt and ask for vendor reports after we had them promised to us. I feel like we were certainly not her priority hence why we felt left in the dark. It was certainly us having to follow her up if we wanted information. Lack of professionalism - Alex would speak about our tenants furniture in a way that would make me feel very uneasy. At the end of the day they are people trying to do their best in a tough time. I do believe that they way she spoke about them to us would have rubbed off on them in person causing them not to want to help her. I felt sorry for them and no one deserves to be judged like that. Aggression - after the property got passed in from auction, and many price changes with no offers we decided we might need a plan B. Alex got aggressive on the phone to my partner resulting in us having to terminate the call and elect that all future communication occur via text message. It was clear that Alex was stressed about the situation but that does not warrant aggressive behaviour. Summary - unfortunately Alex overpromised and under delivered. At the end we felt lied to so many times that it was hard to believe anything she said to us. For anyone considering using her services please be wary as she is very convincing at the start.

I did a lot of homework before I chose Ray White to represent me in selling my home in Holder ACT. I had previous experience selling and so knew how I wanted to go about the process. Alexandra listen to what I wanted which was most important to me and gave me good advice when I was unsure. The selling process was really fast and straightforward for me, with little stress. I certainly recommend Alexandra very highly.

Three months later, we are settled into our new home but remain grateful to Alexandra for taking the hardship out of what was always going to be a difficult transition for us.

Alex achieved a great price for our house She is professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with, she kept us appraised on how the campaign was going every step of the way and made selling our house a lot less stressful
