She managed a large number of buyer enquiries and pre-auction offers in her calm, unflappable style. She kept the garden watered and went early before open houses to make sure everything was presented beautifully. The auction result exceeded our expectations. Alex was the sales agent for my home of nearly 30 years. She was outstanding! She walked me through the daunting prospect of selling a house, providing information, encouragement, links to professionals and whatever else was required . She knew exactly what would be required to present the property in the best possible light, and openly shared her insights without pushing me. Alex worked with her team at Luton's to help me negotiate the complicated maze of paperwork, contracts, building reports etc. I wouldn't know where to start, but the very efficient team at Luton's helped me with organising all the businesses who provide this range of services. Alex has a comprehensive list of contacts for just about anything that needs to be done in a hurry and on a budget. She arranged for the floors in the house to be sanded back and resealed - at 2 days' notice. The end result was a major selling point for the house. Whatever work was needed, Alex had contacts available to help out. When I had my own contacts, Alex worked with them as well. When it came time to style the house, Alex drew on her experience in real estate. She provided a lot of very useful advice. She suggested hiring some of the furniture (which was cheaper than buying it and then wondering where to put it afterwards). She incorporated my style into the overall presentation of the house, including a lot of my own nicnacs and soft furnishings, and providing some that she had on hand. Alex has that valuable combination of skills in shepherding clients in the right direction and encouraging us when we don't think we'll ever get there. She goes way above and beyond expectations, being personally involved and committed throughout the project. She even turned up at the weekend to help with the last minute tasks before advertising the house. I have never encountered this level of professionalism and commitment before. Without Alex's hard work, we would not have achieved the result we did.
