I have had a very good experience especially with Alyson Kelaart who I've found very helpful and supportive in a very difficult time, with a divorce sale of a family home. She is not one of those dreaded pushy real estate agents. Working with both myself and my sister in law to work thru all the issues involved. She has consistently been available when I have contacted her and reliable with her advice and assistance. We were quoted a very low price for the house with another agency and Alyson came in with a higher price but made no promises about a great outcome. She did say that she had sold another house around the block from ours. She also said she had some buyers looking in the area. All true as on the first and only open we had over 20 couples thru' the house and a number of writen offers the very first day of opening, the next day the house was sold for way above our expectations. Alyson pushed the buyers as if they were in an auction. We have been very impressed and Alyson's commitment and sensitivity in a difficult time for us has made this a pleasant experience. The concept of Purplebricks might be new to Australian Real Estate, however it is definitely something I would do again. A fixed low fee which includes professional photography, marketing, listing on all major real estate websites, open homes, contract negotiations, and best of all, at the end of the sale, saving thousands on commission. What more could you want! I spoke to many real estates before going with Alyson Kelaart and Purplebricks. Alyson was friendly, provided honest, informative information and helped me to understand how her, and Purplebricks were different to 'traditional' real estates. While speaking with Alyson, she was able to describe how she felt she would market my home and what the assets of my property were. She also provided me with a full market appraisal and other useful information to help me make an informed decision on what to market the property for. Alyson was always available to talk over any questions I might have, and I never felt pressured to sell my property for less, just to make a quick sale.
