I appreciated that you recognised that I was selling my home of 18 years and not just an asset, this was important to me. When you came into my home to do the appraisal you were thorough and asked me about all the assets of living in the unit complex ( e.g. Number of owner occupiers, approximate average age etc) you also took the time to take note of its features and what you would highlight if you were given the opportunity to sell the property. At all times you communicated with me and not at me and I never felt pushed our bullied into decisions that i wasn't happy with. I was grateful that you did not ask me who the other agents were that I had organised to do appraisals of my home, or what their estimates were, this was one of the things that reflected your integrity. I liked the fact that your appraisal, as you would say, was conservative and that you didn't promise me a price that was never going to be reached, even though we achieved a great outcome. Your advice on how to market my home and how to structure the advertising was about doing the best for me and not spending unnecessary dollars- again this was noted and very much appreciated.
