Amber was easy to talk to and communicated well. She was straightforward about the chance of selling during winter but kept me optimistic. It felt like a team effort - we'd talk about changes of strategy and come to a decision together - and she's intelligent and has a sense of humour. The outcome was good, slightly better than I was expecting by that time in the process, so I was happy with the way it was handled.
After a disappointing start to the sale of our property with another agent, I came across Amber quite by chance. I trailed through the real estate agents in our area and met with 2 or 3 so I had good comparison experience. From the moment I talked to her I knew we were going with a winner - Amber was forthright and positive on the phone - she really listened to what I had to say so we invited her to come and see us. Our property was more than bricks and mortar and lifestyle and it required people similar to us to understand what it was about. Amber "got it" from the moment she arrived. How good was that! Amber was realistic and honest from the start. We talked about price and wonder of wonders she didn't immediately start counting sheds and infrastructure - she viewed the whole property as a package and what would draw the right purchaser to it. The best thing was when she said - "I get it and I know I can sell this property!" I believed her and never wavered in my faith. Amber changed the advertising to reflect the experience rather than the number of buildings, bedrooms and construction details and voila - potential buyers stared to make contact. We were realistic as well - we knew it would have to be the right purchaser and were not put off when told too big, too much work etc. We all knew that the right person was out there and Amber just had to find them. In fact , she did such a good job that the interstate purchasers signed a conditional contract BRFORE they flew to Tasmania. How is that for positive negotiation from Amber. Amber knows here stuff - her knowledge of the Huon Valley is extensive and her fantastic follow up gave us great peace of mind. She was on top of the whole sales process. Amber always returned our calls promptly if we had a question. She provided written updates as to where we were so we never felt that we were just another photo and blurb on realestate.com waiting for a person to sell it to themselves. She is amazing.

Having bought and sold quite a few houses, Amber has been the most sincere and professional Agent that I have dealt with. Her knowledge of the Cygnet area was amazing and she had a great insight into potential Buyers. The property was sold within a short period of time and Amber handled all the paperwork and communications making it a very smooth Sale. It was a pleasure dealing with Amber and I would recommend her professionalism and expertise to any potential buyer/seller and I will most definitely rely on Amber for any future Real Estate needs. I have dealt with Amber on two occasions both selling and buying real estate. Both times I have found her to be very down to earth. No pressure ever used or hard sale tactics, which is what I prefer. I dislike "pushy" sales people in any area of sales. Amber always allowed me to take the time to make my own decisions, without interference. Any negotiation was communicated to me in a professional and timely manner. I would be happy to recommend Amber to any prospective purchaser or seller and would also recommend other members of the team that I have dealt with. Amber Leighton was responsible for selling our difficult to sell property after three years on the market. She is so friendly and easy to talk to and explains everything in a down to earth manner. She is extremely dedicated to securing sales and works hard to finalise everything without stress. She has an ability to find the right people for the right house at the right time. I don't think we would have sold our house for the price we got if it weren't for her. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I found Amber Leighton to be professional, personable and knowledgeable of the local market. She was realistic in her appraisal and did not inflate expectation which I found refreshing. She was at all times optimistic yet grounded. While she was more than willing to adhere to my instruction, she provided professional guidance to consider as an alternative perspective, thereby enabling a healthy two-way interaction of opinions and pathways. I did not feel pressured in any way with Amber and felt, at all times, that she was working on my behalf.
