Unprofessional once offer accepted.
Bought a home from Donna through Facetime due to relocating to QLD from VIC, everything went well up to the stage where once the vendor accepted my offer, Donna was very pushy to have my finance sorted, which I understand but as an agent that has been in the industry for this amount of years, I'm surprised she didn't realise that it's not the buyer that is delaying everything, it's the bank.
Once settlement happened, I missed a call from Donna in which I returned but to no avail so I contacted her agency and her receptionist managed to get her to call me back. Now speaking with Donna, I was congratulated and then I was advised the keys to the home are in the metre box, I was quite shocked, I was expecting an in home visit of hand over of keys and also a gift but maybe, that is too much to ask for once she's been paid more than $14,000 in commissions.
Once I moved in and settled, I decided to contact Donna just to chase up our forgotten gift in which she apologised for not giving. She also did say she'll deliver the gift personally but I declined because it'll be a cheap trashy purchase from her. However, prior to this, I find out the vendor was given two gifts from Donna but she managed to somehow forget to give us, the buyer, a gift. Don't forget she's been paid her commissions so who cares, right?
All in all, the home is great but the buyimg process was disgusting.
If you plan on buying your forever home or any type of home and you want to imagine it being a happy moment, don't buy from Donna Doleman.
I regret buying this home and I would only wish to go back and buy from another agent.
