A happy, professional marketing outcome--one inspection, one offer, one sale
Several months ago, my wife and I entrusted the marketing of our architect-designed home in Burradoo to Andrew de Montemas of W M Carpenter Real Estate, Bowral. A selling price was chosen in keeping with the quality of the home. Soon after, the first prospective purchasers came through while my wife and I had a fifty-minute walk.
An hour after we arrived back, a phone call from Andrew advised that the only persons to carry out an inspection were making an offer equal to the top asking price. There had been no photography, no print advertising, no web or magazine spread, and no open home invitations. I've assumed that Andrew has a gift for matching a buyer's tastes with what a dwelling has to offer.
