Andrew’s down-to-earth, straight-forward and personable approach has defied any negative stereotypes that one may hold about real estate agents; he’s the real deal. Andrew steered us through the necessary procedures with a reassuring balance of consideration and professionalism. His superior knowledge of the real estate market and his natural capacity for communicating sometimes complicated concepts in everyday terms has been invaluable. His consummate attention to a definite, delineated plan of action has put us at ease every step of the way. Our case was not a simple one. The “uncultivated” yard may not have appealed to some prospective buyers with more “suburban” expectations. Furthermore, due to circumstances, the house and surrounds had become run down. All up, there were numerous aspects of maintenance which had been let lapse. In consultation with Andrew, it was decided to address these issues in a methodical manner to place the property on the market at the level that we felt it deserved. A series of contractors was brought in to perform a multiplicity of tasks. Andrew’s obvious experience in these matters meant that we were able to feel confident that the outlay was in no way going to exceed the sales benefit provided. We were consequently relieved and pleased with the eventual result. Taking all this in their stride, Andrew and his team set about the task in business-like fashion. Special mention should be made of Samantha Washington, a member of Andrew’s sales team with a proven flair for design. Her contributions to presenting the house in its best light have been significant. Apart from overseeing the above problem factors, Andrew’s skills in organising the normal sales processes, such as advertising, conveyancing and financial aspects, have been highly commendable. His conscientious efforts on our behalf can rightfully be referred to as “above and beyond the call of duty”.
