After ringing around other agents in Kiama and getting a very poor response, I finally contacted Andy at Harcourts Real Estate who responded very enthusiastically to a somewhat difficult challenge. My small parcel of land was surrounded by land that was owned by the one person who was difficult to locate. Andy kindly worked out a satisfactory suggested selling price for my land and proceeded to locate the other owner. After some scouting around he firstly located the solicitor of the other owner, and secondly spoke with the owner who, Andy discovered, was an Asian man who lived in China and couldn't speak very much English. Finally after much toing and froing Andy was finally able to communicate with this man and broker a deal that eventually satisfied both parties. This sale couldn't have, and wouldn't have, been achieved if it wasn't for Andy's determination and tenacity to do the right thing by his client. I thank Andy very much for his integrity and the incredible work he did locating this buyer and negotiating a fair price.
