Let me give some background before I start. I have never been a fan of real estate agents. I always believed that they were a necessary evil and the nature of a commission based industry can lead them to being pushy and aggressive in their quest for a listing and sale. This does not sit well with me. That said, I interviewed 3 agents prior to listing my property. Angelo was one of those. I believe that all three were capable people with the ability to sell the property for a reasonable price. I chose Angelo. Why? Angelo stood out. There was something about him that I liked. He had energy, enthusiasm and confidence that was not overwhelming and appeared genuine. There was no fabricated facade. Angelo proved to be good to deal with. He was fun and kept me informed at every step along the way. We went into the process with high expectations which were not met. These expectations were reasonably consistent with those provided by the other agents I interviewed. We did not achieve those expectations but we were hampered by being caught up in the initial covid19 shutdown and uncertainty. However, I do believe, on subsequent comparisons, that the price we achieved reflected the market value accurately. I recommend Angelo. In a marketplace where it can be difficult to differentiate between people and services Angelo stood out and made the experience enjoyable.
My Wife and I have recently become new parents to a 4 week old baby boy, soon after our Son's birth we made the decision to sell our one bedroom apartment even in this unsure time.
