Due to an unexpected change in circumstance I found myself in early December needing to leave Sydney. I approached several agents with a view of marketing the property privately without a marketing promotion and auction for sale before Christmas. Angus impressed me for a number of reasons: 1. In my initial call he emphasised why he and McGrath were the best team to market my property. 2. He ensured I had received all of the information in relation to properties recently sold, including testimonials that evening, before our meeting the following morning. 3. He listened to my plans, making sure he understood them and making suggestions as to how the property should be marketed. Throughout the campaign he and his team were easy to deal with; doing everything they said they would and were pretty much on call. Having said that, it was only a week before the property was sold at Angus’ target price so I cannot comment on how long they can keep it up. My impression was that Angus was able to successfully sell the property because he had a substantial database of buyers whose needs he understood. This allowed for a number of interested parties to bid for the property and I feel sure that the prospective buyers were treated with the same level of integrity that I experienced.
