Before dealing with Anna and her team I considered real estate agents a necessary evil. Silly me - we now know having an agent of Anna's calibre on your side is a major asset. We listed with Anna primarily due to her sales record, her professional approach, and her well-groomed appearance. And all of that panned out as expected. But the icing on the cake turned out to be the way Anna operates - as the leader of a team, each member with their own strengths. There was always someone to turn to for advice, for guidance, and even just to talk to, to settle our nerves. In this respect we dealt mostly with the lovely Susan. She was always there, she was always smiling, calm, patient and helpful. A memorable part of the process. When we were preparing to list our property, COVID-19 was something vaguely happening in distant lands. Our campaign kicked off in early March 2020 and the numbers at the first few open homes were astounding. The feedback and guidance from Anna and her team was very good, just as you would expect from a good agent. As COVID became more of an issue and the market soured however, numbers fell away and we resigned ourselves to a probable 'passed in' result at auction, try again in a year or two. Then in the week leading up to auction, live auctions were banned under the lock-down rules. Yet Anna never gave up - the determination she showed and the extra effort she put in was something to behold. And she did it, we sold during that tumultuous week. You could not buy a roll of TP or a bottle of hand sanitiser anywhere, but Anna sold our house. Any agent can achieve a decent sale in a "hot" market.
