I have bought and sold many properties in several states of Australia so I have had lots of experience dealing with Real Estate Agents. Annique wins the award for worst agent I have ever had to deal with. In Annique's world customer care is 5/100, Annique care is 95/100. We requested several times to have an out of hours viewing of the property we were keen on buying and Annique would give us a date and then every time would cancel, the commonest excuse was family member illness. This excuse was so common I would be surprised if any family member is still alive. The distinct impression I got was she was basically lazy and attempting to do as little as she could but desirous of the large commission at the end. The pattern became clearer as time went on.Whenever we made a request of Annique the first thing she would do is lie that something was not available, then back it up by sending an email to say that legally the seller did not have to do this or that. All of that so she did not have to make an effort or go out of her way. Even after we purchased the property we asked for the keys and remotes to the property and her first response was to say that the owner had not handed the keys over yet, then sent me an email saying that legally the owner had 24 hrs to surrender the keys after the sale had gone through. By this time I was awake to her lying ways so I marched down to her sales office and asked to speak with the manager. I was then told that the keys were at the office and that the owner had dropped them off that morning at 6.30 AM and that I could have the keys immediately. Yet another blatant lie, then the cover-up, I assume all because she is too lazy to make even a small effort for her customers and to make sure Annique does the least she can to earn her commission. So if you want a lazy, lying, unreliable agent working for you, this is the one.
