I engaged Arthur to sell my house after two of the major franchise agencies had tried to sell it. I was told by one of them that I should accept the only offer they got as it was a falling market and the next offer will be less, the offer was two hundred and fifty thousand less than what I thought it was worth. They were vague in their description in the advertising and had the price range lower than I wanted, their reason being they will attract more buyers with a lower price. The next agency had been badgering me saying he had interested buyers. In three months another agent from his office showed it to one buyer who also made a very low offer. I then discovered Arthur who gave me an appraisal exactly in the same range as I thought it was worth, Arthur's description of the house was very accurate and he had the price range clear and up front in the advertising, this attracted the right buyers and we had multiple offers.
