I thought I knew a lot about the real estate market in Melbourne, what was involved, and considered myself well informed both as a buyer and now as a vendor. And then I met Ben… Ben’s expertise, market knowledge, professionalism, and communication throughout our campaign was flawless, and the result spoke for itself. Communication was clear, timely, and efficient, I didn’t feel like Ben wasted my time or I wasted his; no question or request was too hard or swept under the carpet. We had over 500 people visit our property for inspections, and Ben managed the inspections and follow up on his own. Most importantly was his ability to manage my expectations as a vendor. With so much interest in the property, it would have been easy for me to ask him to increase the advertised price, or to set potentially an unrealistic reserve price. It was a pleasure to work with Ben on the sale of our house .... he was with us as a guiding, steady hand every step along the way. From the outset, Ben provided us with a wealth of market knowledge so that we had a very clear idea of what we should expect based on comparative properties. In the lead up to getting the house "market ready", Ben arranged for quotes from handymen, painters, gardeners and stylists and, on approval, managed the whole process on our behalf. Once on the market, Ben was the consummate professional ..... talking to and following up with each potential purchaser, attending each inspection and following up punctually, communicating with me within minutes if there were any updates. I never had to wonder what was happening. Aside from that, Ben is genuinely great guy to talk to and he's hilarious as well .... the saddest part about selling my family house, was not talking to Ben each day afterwards ... although he said we still could.
