Not only my expectations, but also that of the majority of my neighbours! family and friends.The houses, whilst being Heritage listed, were falling apart, riddled with termite and borer damage , onein need of massive restoration, the other uninhabitable being vacant for some 16 years, an empty shell, devoid of a Kitchen, bath-room, toilet and laundry.Faced with all this Dean and Ben arranged an impressive,"Drone" video,--- huge pictorial" For Sale" signs, front and back,-- half page adds in the two Major Eastern Suburbs news-papers in two issues prior to auction day, followed by a leaflet drop. All done to a day by day spread-sheet plan of action. I received offers from two developers and three family's, all around $1.1 to $1.3 million each. The Bickmore team advised me to go to Auction, as the selling price was difficult to estimate ( each contract holder and interested party were informed, (often after hours!)of an estimated range of $1.3 to $1.4 million, due to both houses having no previous sale price . After a spirited Auction, I was amazed at the hammer falling on $1.455 million each. A splendid result, as larger, recently renovated houses in the eastern suburbs were not reaching this amount. I noticed other large real estate agents were not as diligent as Ben and Dean. Their attention to detail and the Sales plan was brilliant, combined with a calm, always pleasant and "be fair to all" attitude. As you may have noticed by now, I am very impressed with the Bickmore-Hut team!
