Exceptional agent with heart and soul

After interviewing a few agents, when I met Ben, I knew instinctively he was our agent. He is warm, professional, intelligent, charismatic, and driven. He made selling our home easy with help of Frank, whom we also had the pleasure of working with. Ben has excellent communication skills can be trusted to do his job well and achieve an outcome that we were very happy with. In a Class of Their Own

After interviewing 4 other agents the decision was transparent Ben Cannon & his team member really seemed to be in a class of their own. Ben with his vast experience has a natural quality that compels a room’s attention. He is respectful & unpretentious. With all the follow up calls/reports I constantly knew the status of the sale & I had the reassurance that Ben was the correct choice. Ben &his team outperformed my expectation & on top of that achieved a much high price then I felt was possible.

Disappointing experience with Mcrath

Overall we were not happy with Mcgrath. The marketing costs seemed a bit excessive. The marketing material was just copy and pasted from a property at Bulimba saying that our house close to 'ferry services' though we lived in Coorparoo. Luckily we picked mistakes up before this was published. We were not impressed by quality of photos as compared to previous campaigns. From the outset we felt that the agents were just conditioning us to accept an offer that was not what we wanted for our house. Even the morning of the auction they were trying to talk us into accepting a sub par price for the house. It felt like they just wanted to get their commission and move on. Eventually due to our perseverance we achieved our goal. No thanks to the agents who had no prior contact with the buyers who purchased our house at auction. We saw open houses where the agent was just lounging on our outdoor furniture on the phone and little interaction with prospective buyers. After the sale we have had no contact with the agent. We have sold previously by auction and at least got a bottle of bubbly or a personalised interaction afterward. Absolutely nothing from Mcrath. We would not use Mcgrath again or recommend them to friends or family looking to sell their home.

It was smooth and convivial

I was the buyer of a property sold by Ben and his offsider Tiffiany. They were very efficient and ensured that the mechanics of the sale were dealt with quickly. Arrangements to enable valuations and inspections were handled with speed. But more than that, it was a joy to deal with Ben and Tiffany who made what could be a stressful process a joy. I would recommend him for any real estate sale.
