We asked Provincial Real Estate to appraise and, later, sell our house. We selected Provincial because of their local presence and market experience in the Hills. The appraisal was professionally conducted and we were given a bracket of the likely achievable sale price. Ben Ciocca and his associate David Farrant were led us through the appraisal, the current state of the market and their sales process and costs. They listened to our expectations and the discussion was amicable and objective. Provincial's marketing strategy was very effective. There were 6 "home opens" in 5 weeks with 4 to 6 groups visiting on each occasion. Finally, an offer was received 6 weeks after the house was placed on the market and settlement was completed within a further 5 weeks. Ben, who is the Principal, has excellent communications skills and a very good knowledge of the market. He priced the house realistically and the sale price was in the middle of his estimate bracket. Throughout the process we were kept up-to-date by phone and weekly written updates from Ben and David. They both came across as empathetic, realistic and trustworthy.
