Highly recommended

We had been looking for a family home on the North Shore for many months and during that time, saw properties with many different agents. From the first time we met Ben he stood out. He was friendly, professional and reliable, and engaged with us directly, following through with new properties for us to view. He helped us find our dream home, and he went above and beyond to help us make the purchase a reality. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Customer Focussed and Detailed

Ben is probably the most customer focussed person I have ever partnered with. Allied with a high attention to detail and personable nature, this is a winning combination when marketing your home. Professional, approachable and highly skilled team

We had a very positive and stress free selling experience with Ben and Mark. We found them to be a highly professional, knowledgeable and responsive team and very easy to deal with. Ben and Mark followed up on everything they promised to do, had excellent contacts re professionals and tradesmen, and throughout the sale we felt they were there to assist us. They gave well-rounded and clear advice regards selling strategy and kept us informed every step of the way. Their interaction with potential buyers was excellent and ultimately it was through their connections that we were able to sell. We would highly recommend Ben and Mark to any people looking to put their house on the market.

A positive Campaign

The sale of our house especially during the difficult period of Covid-19 was a most positive experience due to the professionalism and effort made by both Ben Cohen and Mark Goldman. Throughout the campaign Ben was in constant contact, always positive and yet very open and honest with his communication and reporting. Ben's knowledge of the local market and his advice was very valuable and greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Ben and I look forward to working with them again.

Great experience

Experienced, strategic and efficient

Despite having good views and aspects, my home, which was in poor condition and on a sloped site was difficult to sell. Thank you Ben for your patience and experience in working out strategies to consistently attract buyers, which was no easy task. You were extremely responsive and kept me updated with analysis immediately after each open house. With the adjusted price guide based on your valuable advice, you were able to successfully generate more enquires and hence offers were attracted. Through your negotiations, our house was successfully sold after several rounds of offers and counter-offers. Your ability to enable the exchange of contracts promptly after terms were agreed in order to meet a tight settlement deadline was very much appreciated.

Ben was the main agent on our property sale

Ben is highly authentic,honest and great to deal with. He has high energy levels and works very hard to get a strong sale. He is smart and remembers detail and always follows up. Being relatively young means he has more experience to be gained but that did not put us off. He is able to engage effectively with people much older and more senior than he. Probably one of the better agents we have dealt with in a number of property sales and purchases.

Proactive, innovative and strategic

I just bought my new home through Ben and he was fantastic throughout the process. He proactively followed up any requests timely, without being pushy or condescending throughout. He respected our space when we asked for it but also knew exactly when to get us on the phone. He proposed innovative ways to negotiate on terms that were mutually beneficial, which eventually sealed what was almost a deadlocked deal that we thought was lost - twice! In the end, both the buyer and vendor got exactly what they wanted and I can honestly say that this would not have happened if it wasn't for Ben.

Let me start by saying that Ben Cohen is a very personable, intelligent and highly motivated sales executive who initially, cold called us, but the impact was immediate and we knew that we had found our home sales partner. Ben and the Sotheby’s team brought a level of professionalism, confidence and trust we had not previously encountered on the Sydney North Shore, and our sales process and outcome with Ben and Sotheby’s was not only exceptional, but best practice. The initial marketing materials – brochures, pamphlets, on-line presentation - which Sotheby’s orchestrated were superior in quality, for only a modest outlay, but we felt they set a new, higher, benchmark for property sales in our area. Additionally, the shrewd leveraging of communications media, and across the Sotheby’s ‘we-chat’ infrastructure, gave our property significant profile and prominence, which led to, and generated, enormous interest in our sale property, and ultimately to the purchaser. And the final sales result was a brilliant outcome in a housing market that changed dramatically through the campaign as the impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic took effect on communities in Sydney, Australia and globally. Every step of the way through the Sale, with Ben and the Sotheby’s team working closely with us, we felt we were with the the best in the business – the ‘A Team’. Their attentiveness, awareness, market savvy and, in particular, their ability to leverage internationally and manage multi-lingual prospects was a distinct advantage. We felt throughout that we were partners with Sotheby’s in our Sale. We were the client, we were the centre of their campaign process, and we always felt well informed and included in activities and decisions throughout the campaign.
