This was an interesting transaction. In our case as purchasers we knew the sellers and agreed to keep the negotiation separate and entirely in the hands of Ben. During the buying process we behaved normally, our first offer was low but fair and the process progressed. We were keen to buy prior to auction, I had set my maximum prior to allowing the property to go to auction or walk away and look at alternative investments.
