Whilst the house was in the condition that we seen at the inspections we wish to comment on the lights and oven hotplates . Since living in the house, the fact that the lights were on for presentation has highlighted so issue that may have change our opinion on purchase. !. The lights on hid the fact that there is limited natural lighting in the kitchen. With no window in the kitchen the natural light is dependant on the dining area door. 2. The type of lights that are installed are fluorescent down lights. There is no instant light as time is required for the light to brighten. 3. There is 50 lights throughout the house. You almost need a torch to go to the toilet. The light has brightened when you are finished. Not for a short stay. 4. The type of fitting used is a Clipsal. There are no replacement globes in Australia. Clipsal have discontinued the line. A replacement light needs to be sourced. There is a problem with the cut out size for the light. If none can be sourced major gyprock work and repainting may have to be done. We are talking to Clipsal. At this stage the only answer is to change the fitting at a cost of around $1500. 5. It was generally assumed that the lighting was LED. Buyer Beware--Agent note. 6. The oven hotplates took 2 days to clean.
