Ben is one of those guys that makes you feel like you were mates back in school within about 5 minutes of meeting him. We initially met him several years ago when we were just watching the market movement and comparing our house with others of a similar design. He treated us exceptionally well despite the fact that we were not real prospects for any of the properties we saw. Then, when we saw our current home with one of his partners, we knew we just had to have it, and we knew exactly who we would hire with the task of selling our property. The tricky part of completing renovations on our existing home, listing and selling it became a whirlwind of events that Ben was a crucial component of. He guided us through the entire process including helping us find an incredible mortgage broker and conveyancer and negotiated terms with both our buyers and the vendors of our new home to create a virtually seamless transition into our new home! It's fair to say I cannot recommend Ben Weeks enough. A champion estate agent that I now also consider a friend!
Ben knew what the market was like at the time we decided to sell. He was very knowledgeable about how to present our home. Ben gave us good sound advice. We have worked with Ben before when selling some land for us. Ben kept us up to date about showings, how many interested people viewed our home. We chose Ben to sell our house after we had met him looking at another property. During our search for our new home, we came across a lot of real estate agents who never returned our texts, calls or emails, but Ben remembered our names, got right back to us and seemed to genuinely want to help. He has been polite, friendly, knowledgable in all our dealing with The Professionals, so he was our obvious first choice when selling our home. Ben knew the market was lowering and that our original price may be a little high, but he was happy for us to set the price and campaign details, and explained what to do if we couldn't reach our target. He was spot on about market value and we ended up selling out house in the price bracket he originally suggested. Had he enforced this price at the beginning we would have been very disappointed with what we ended up with, but being given the choice to try our ideas etc and time to change the pricing, meant we could actually see what buyers were willing to pay and were happy with the end result. Ben really seems to understand the psychology and emotional impact of buying and selling homes and is very respectful and wise when dealing with his customers.
