I first met Ben Ward, during a very difficult time and was impressed from the beginning. Ben Ward, was the only Real Estate Agent, in the Shoalhaven area that actually returned my call, so we were off to a great start. The title of this review, says it all. Selling your family home of some 60 years is difficult. Selling a home that doesn't want to be sold is a hard task and the agent needed to bring his "A Game" - Ben did just that and more. Within just a few hours of my initial call, Ben, did a drive by of the house, photographed it and sent me a detailed report, outlining his price guide, based on the area, street and what was happening in the market place at the time. WOW - impressive to say the least. The process was long and arduous. The house required work, cleaning out and preparing for the inevitable sale. Ben helped us navigate this process, while keeping us up-to-date on the ever changing market of the area. The big question of "For Sale" VS "Auction" was a particularly difficult one. We settled on Auction, which proved to be the best outcome for us. Ben and I spoke on a regular basis, forwarding reports every week and navigating the interested parties. Negotiating on price was masterful. Ben wanted to get the right price for his client but also needed to be realistic to the prospective buyers. We both knew and understood this. The auction day approached faster than I wanted. The place was "highly charged" - both excitement and emotions were at there peak. Ben, again, was highly professional as he once again, navigated us all. The house was sold on the day. An amazing outcome for all involved.
