They tell you that you might receive the best offer you'll get in the first week and you should be ready. But I was more worried that our guide price was too low. I never expected such a serious offer after only one inspection. Blake asked me if I wanted him to try and negotiate a higher price. I tentatively said yes but also said 'don't scare him off'. Blake and the team got a considerably better revised offer. The buyer was keen for a quick win after apparently missing out on several properties previously. Blake showed confidence and experience to respond quickly and successfully to what for me was a surprising turn of events. I was expecting this would be long hard work. But the buyer was asking to not give other prospective buyers the chance to compete at auction. This had value and was worthy of a higher offer. It all happened so quickly I was quite 'blown away' by it all. Blake was cool and calm through the whole thing which was very reassuring. In the end both buyer and seller happy I think. This was the second sale Blake successfully conducted for me.
