I recently sold my investment property through Brent Compton. Settlement is in a few days time and things are going smoothly right through to the final inspection. The entire exercise or experience of marketing and selling a property, albeit an investment one, has been great. Nothing unusual, except that this is about one of the most difficult and challenging seasons to be doing so. And not just by way of the natural! So, on a wintry day several weeks back, the team at Ray White South Perth, helmed by Brent Compton swung a cash purchase from a young couple with kids from the country. Exceptional, especially it's also a 30day settlement deal! The price, though, was not what I would have liked as much, but looking at things across a whole spectrum, with so global and local uncertainty and volatility, it could be considered decent in the times we're in. As a pragmatic investor I made the straight-forward decision of letting it go, even at a loss. Because I know too well that things could take a turn for the worse. Cutting losses - or being in the enviable situation of being able to do so in the most challenging of time, was my goal. This was where Brent's clever and slick marketing came in. But way before then, with sound and astute advice to prep and present the property as there were three or four others on the market, I was in good hands. Mine was particularly more demanding to market as it was on a very low floor and trees and shrubs were already robbing it of the river view which swayed me to acquire it eight years ago. I commend Brent and his team, including John Spencer and Liza Compton, for their inputs and dedication. I would recommend this team and especially Brent himself to anyone with a property to sell - or buy with no hesitation. They are the best!
