I put my trust in Brian Goodgame, however it turned out to be I’ll advised. I thought he would look out for my best interest- wrong. I believed everything he was telling me up to the point where he said there were several people bidding at the auction. It wasn’t until my property was next up that he said there was only one party bidding. The auction was by Zoom. I know I did not have to sell however Brian and the auctioneer pressured me into accepting what turned out to be in the purchasers benefit. It was only after the auction that Brian came up with negatives about my property, which apparently prospective buyers spoke to him about. I have even had other agents who said they were surprised at the outcome. The only reason I can see why I was so shabbily treated was that Harcourts Coastal needed to keep up their auction clearance rates. I did send an email to the Principal of Harcourts however never heard back. I know Brian has had good ratings, but for me it turned into a nightmare. His only comment to me afterwords was at least I have a 90 day settlement.
Brian was so helpful, as we live out of the Qld state and in Sydney, he was willing to amend his plans to make sure that he had time for us when we flew into the Gold Coast and wanted to view the property. He was friendly and had all the information that we required.
