Hi Lachlan & Chelsea, thank you for your feedback, and I’m genuinely sorry that your settlement experience was not as smooth as it should have been. I completely understand how uncomfortable and upsetting that situation would have felt on such an important day.
Unfortunately, the seller exercised their right to remain at the property until 12pm the following day. Regarding the key handover, as the seller and your family already knew each other and had been in direct contact, the seller advised me they would personally meet you at the property to hand over the keys rather than the normal process of collecting them from our office.
While the circumstances were outside of my control, I do sincerely apologise that the handover was disappointing for you. I appreciate you sharing your experience with me. I truly wish you and your family all the very best in your new home.
