G'day Cam, Things happened pretty quickly from Thursday evening on and, after all the dust had settled by yesterday, we realised that we probably haven't really conveyed just how much we appreciate the time and effort that you put in. It’s fair to say that we were entirely in your hands as the professional, and when you were explaining that this would be the best strategy, and then the early results led you to quickly advise us to change our strategy to make sure that if there was a buyer out there they would be given every opportunity to purchase the property, we went with maybe just a little apprehension. That is especially as it was to go to auction and immediately drew a fear of the unknown. As it was, we didn’t know if there were more that were going to come out of the woodwork at auction time but what we did know was that only one party had shown enough interest to be regarded as a prospect. Without being aggressive or overbearing, you were able to guide these people from prospect to purchaser, and achieve a little more than our reserve – bonus. This was all being done long distance as well! We love our house, have loved our fifteen years there with our family growing up, and are happy to pass it onto the next young family to do likewise with confidence. So many times you and Deb reassured us that, in your opinions, this is the best street in Mount Claremont and there would be no problems selling. And were you right – of course!
