Carl is genuine, professional, a great negotiator, relaxed, incredibly patient and trustworthy. Also, highly ethical. Carl sold 2 properties for us as part of a deceased estate during a particularly difficult period. He always returned calls before, during and after hours, and was happy to deal with any minor concern or issue. Carl has a keen understanding of the market, gave very good advice on presentation and other aspects of selling. Carl took on all our requirements and provided the service that we needed to meet these requirements. He discussed the market, the options, the opportunities, the realities. He provided feedback every week on the inspections, on his projections, on his direction, his plans for the following week. He was available for every meeting we requested, he answered every call we made. On auction date, our house was passed in at 2pm. From that time, Carl just accelerated. He started calling people who had visited, people who did not bid at the auction, people who had attended other auctions. He went to his office and kept us informed of his strategy which was to SELL. After 6 hours of wrangling and calling and not giving up Carl sold our home to a person who had not even been present at the auction. The purchaser had been to our home previously but had not made a firm offer. We went from distress and disappointment to complete relief. Carl went above and beyond to make sure that our home was sold. We were very lucky to have him as our agent and that his default setting is not to give up. We sold our home after 3 weeks on the market. He accomplished what we definitely thought was impossible given the results at the auction. He knows his stuff, he told it like it was and he achieved the outcome that we needed.
I have dealt extensively with real estate agents over 40 years, Carl negotiated on our behalf way above my expectations, was always prompt and quick returning calls, he did this in a difficult situation for a deceased estate where several people were involved. And, he continued to provide assistance once the sale was complete.
