We were very disappointed with the poor communication during the sale process. On more than three occasions the time for inspection was listed incorrectly on both the website and/or the sign in front of our property. On one occasion we were only "told", (not asked) at 8:30pm that people were being brought through our home the next day. We had one open house where the Agent did not even show up! This was not just rude but unprofessional. There seemed to be poor communication within the staff at PRD itself. WE WERE DISGUSTED TO FIND THE NEW OWNERS HAD ALREADY BEGUN MOVING INTO OUR HOME PRIOR TO THE OFFICIAL SETTLEMENT TIME. This was very upsetting, as we went there to take some last photos and could not do so. The agent said that they did not give them the keys early, so we would like to know how they got access to the property before settlement. The Conveyancing Business that was recommended by our agent was not good. They were difficult to get in contact with on a number of occasions and also made mistakes with paperwork. Many people suggested that we change agents after they noticed how long it was taking to sell our property. We would not use PRD again, nor would we recommend PRD to anyone.

I originally put in an offer for the house I was buying that was denied due to another buyer offering more. I came back with an offer just over this price and this was accepted, however, this was not communicated to me. Upon asking if my offer was accepted, I was then told that I could not place a holding deposit, as the other buyer was still in the running, (even though she had offered less!!) It was communicated to me that it would be a race to the finish line, and whoever managed to settle first would be the new owner of the property. I found this to be extremely unethical. In the meantime I received phone calls encouraging me to 'urgently chase' the bank. Being placed in this unnecessary position caused stress and made the process overwhelming. Either way, somebody was going to be left out of pocket.
