Chadi is a friendly, professional real estate agent. He's helpful, knowledgeable, and very well dressed. He takes great pride in his expertise. Despite a shaky start, mainly due to a misunderstanding, we maintained good communication. I even received a congratulations phone call during his holiday when settlement went through!
We have recently sold our home after listing it with Chadi. We enjoyed working with Chadi, as he is an amazing and very decent man and real estate agent. We worked with Chadi for over 3 years on our search for a mid size family home. This has been a long and arduous process which Chadi has assisted us with and supported us the whole time with no complaints and always with a happy disposition. Once we finally found our new home we chose Chadi to sell our old house without any hesitation. A decision we have not regretted as he made the whole process as easy as possible for us with his advice before going to home opens. His constant updates after each home open and attention to detail was fabulous. He also was able to get us our asking price within 4 weeks, which surpassed our expectations. It is with regret that the new owners subsequently have complained about Chadi, primarily due to actions that we, the sellers, took in response to some particularly poor treatment we received from the buyer. In our view, Chadi did his job faultlessly in representing us, the sellers. The negative feedback from the buyers says more about them than it does about Chadi! We would like to add that we would have no hesitation recommending Bellcourt and especially Chadi Damouni to anyone wanting to sell or buy a home, and have already told our friends and family this. If Chadi is any indication of the quality of sales people at Bellcourt it is truly an exceptional agency and property group.
We purchased a property via Chadi and the whole experience was extremely painful and unpleasant. He was completely biased towards the seller and was very inflexible towards any demands or questions which we had as the buyer. He had very little knowledge of how the house functioned and simply made things up when we asked questions during the final handover walk through. All further questions we had regarding the house remain unanswered to this day and any issues which we picked up on the walk through were blatantly ignored. Items which he had told us will remain in the house (manuals etc) were not there like he told us they would be. Additionally, he was not an honest communicator during the settlement period. He did not even bother to advise our settlement agent or the sellers settlement agent of a “3-day settlement extension” option being applied. This lack of communication caused a lot of angst for both parties (buyer and seller) which he has failed to recognize or take accountability for. I would not recommend using Chadi as a real estate agent as his mismanagement of the handover and settlement items is not something I wish anyone else to have to go through when purchasing a house.

We gave the task of selling our 2 units to Chadi Damouni. They were in an area where there was an abundance of properties for sale. There was never a moment where he had a home open and he did not communicate exactly what was going on. I was very impressed with his high level of communication. He was diligent with whatever he had to do to get the properties sold. I never had to ring to ask what was going on as he always rang first. His integrity is very high. Chadi was also selling our properties in a market that is tough and demanding and hats of to him for getting far more than any of the other units that were being sold at that time. He also sold our 2nd property without it even going on the market!!! I would definitely use Chadi again if the opportunity arose and I highly recommend him.
